Fans will have to wait a bit longer for the ‘Avatar’ sequel, James Cameron has announced a new release date: Fans will have to wait a bit longer for the sequel to the much-awaited film Avatar by veteran Hollywood director James Cameron. The film was shot in New Zealand earlier this year and was slated for release in December 2021. However, due to an epidemic like Corona, the release date of the film is December 16, 2022.
Cameron has written on social media: “There is no one more disappointed than me with this delay in the film, but I am impressed by the incredible performance and extraordinary work of actors.” He also is thanked Disney Studios for fans as well as fans.
Earlier this year, James and filmmaker John traveled to Wellington, New Zealand, to shoot the sequel to Avatar, with 50 filmmakers.

The movie ‘Avatar’ released in 2009 got a lot of love from the viewers. After which the sequel of this film was also announced.
